 Chemistry laboratory safety measures

There are many safety measures, we should take while working in a chemistry laboratory.

• Always wear lab coat while working in a lab.

• Always wear close shoes. Don't wear open shoes like slippers.

• Don't eat and drink anything in a lab.

• Always read instruction before using any chemicals in in a lab.

• Don't heat the chemicals in a beaker, always use conical or volumetric flask for heating flammable things.

• Use the glass ware very carefully.

• Use laboratory googles because some chemicals are not suitable for our eyes.

• Use gloves because some chemicals has burning effect on our skin.

• Use mask in a  lab because smells of some chemicals are hazardous for human.

• Don't taste any any chemicals in a lab.

• Always check the labels before using any chemicals.

• Always use acid carefully.
